¶1Heard Shri Krishna Kumar Chaurasia, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Uttara Bahuguna, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to take action against Revenue Authority and also take action against Station House Officer of P.S.- Saiyadraja, District-Chandauli for giving false report as well as unnecessary causing harassment to the petitioner..

(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to decide the application of the petitioner dated

25.07.2023 within stipulated time."

¶3In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that his application dated 25.07.2023 addressed to the authority concerned for redressal of his grievance may be decided, expeditiously.

¶4Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel very fairly submits that, in case, any such representation/application is pending, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.

¶5In view of the above, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the District Magistrate, District-Chandauli (second respondent) to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, but certainly, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders.
