¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶2This petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "(i) Pass suitable order directing the Principal Judge, Saharanpur, to decide the Marriage Case No.570 of 2023 under Section 13 (B) of Hindu Marriage Act, filed by the respondent/plaintiff pending before him, expeditiously, if possible within 15 days, in accordance with law,"

¶3It appears that a joint petition was filed by the petitioner and respondent under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act being Matrimonial Case No. 570 of 2023 in the Family Court, Saharanpur, which was filed on 20.4.2023.

¶4Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent.

¶5In view of the aforesaid provisions of the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required.
