The present application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the learned District and Sessions Judge, Mainpuri to expedite the trial of Session Trial No. 416 of 2022 (State Vs. Shivam @ Amit and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 065 of 2020, under Sections 302, 307, 504, 506, 147, 148, 149, 120-B IPC, P.S. Ghiror, District-Mainpuri expeditiously within stipulated period. Learned counsel for the applicant has made a statement at the bar that applicant is the complainant in the present case and the charges against the accused persons have already been framed on

27.9.2023, however, since then the trial has been pending and lingering-on, on one pretext or the other and has not yet been concluded. In view of the above, the District and Sessions Judge, Mainpuri is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid trial expeditiously, preferably within a period of two years from the date of filing of certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to both the parties without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties and there is no other legal impediment in concluding the aforesaid trial.
