Judgment

Court No. - 48 Case :- WRIT - B No. - 667 of 2023 Petitioner :- Pankaj Tomar Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Tiwari,Shabbir Hasan Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Abhishek Mishra,Rahul Mishra Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J.

¶1Sri A.K. Tiwari, learned counsel for petitioner has argued at length and tried to convince this Court that prayer made in this writ petition at the instance of petitioner to direct the State respondents to provide certified copies of number of orders passed in consolidation proceedings.

¶2However, when this Court has asked a specific query that what is bonafide reason to seek such a large number of documents, learned counsel for petitioner could not point out reasons to convince this Court.

¶3I have perused the contents of writ petition and found that it is bereft of any bonafide reason to allow prayer made in this writ petition to provide certified copies of large number of documents arising out of consolidation proceedings.

¶4This writ petition appears to be akin to a private interest litigation and this Court cannot become a party to encourage such type of litigation.

¶5In view of above, this writ petition being misconceived is dismissed. Petitioner is directed to deposit Rs. 5000/- before District Legal Services Authority, Baghpat within a period of two weeks from today for wasting crucial time of this Court.
