Today, when the case is called, no one has appeared on behalf of petitioners. A perusal of the writ petition reveals that petitioners have claimed themselves to be in live-in-relationship and apprehending threat to their life at the hands of respondent no.4 (husband of petitioner no.2), they have filed this petition seeking protection as their request for grant of protection before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Firozabad has not been been looked into so far. Learned State Counsel as well as Mr. Amarendra Mani, learned counsel for respondent no.4 have stated that pursuant to the missing report lodged at the instance of respondent no.4, the petitioner no.2 was recovered, who is presently residing with respondent no.4. In view of above, the issues raised in this writ petition have been rendered infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
