¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties.

¶2Petitioner claims to be working as a Driver in the Veterinary Department and currently posted at District Etawah, attached to the camp office of District Magistrate.

¶3It transpires that the vehicle provided to the Chief Veterinary Officer, Etawah has run out its life of 19 years and therefore, is liable to be auctioned.

¶4Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now vide order dated

29.09.2023, Director (Administration & Development), Veterinary Department has been requested to post the petitioner in some other district.

¶5In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of at this stage with direction to the Director (Administration & Development), Veterinary Department, U.P., Lucknow to take a decision in the matter of posting of the petitioner as requested by the Chief Veterinary Officer, Etawah vide letter dated 29.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from today and until such decision is taken, he shall continue to be attached to the Camp Officer of the District Magistrate, Etawah and shall be paid salary. It is made clear that his further posting will abide by the order passed by the Director (Administration & Development), Veterinary Department, U.P., Lucknow.

¶6Learned Standing Counsel shall communicate this order to the Director (Administration & Development), Veterinary Department, U.P., Lucknow within three days from today.

¶7Learned counsel for the petitioner shall also serve a copy of this order in the office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Etawah and the camp office of District Magistrate, Etawah. Order Date :- 13.10.2023/Deepika High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
