Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. This petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "A. Issue order or direction in the nature of directing to the Additional Principle Judge, Family Court, Court No. 1, District-Azamgarh, to decide the Case No. 687 of 2021 (Rajendra Yadav S. Rinku Yadav and another) within the stipulated period." It appears that the aforesaid matrimonial case was filed under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act seeking a decree of divorce. It is stated that the case is pending since 12.8.2021 but is not being decided. Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent. In view of the aforesaid provisions of the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Order Date :- 13.10.2023 A. V.
