¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for writ of mandamus commanding respondent No. 2 to decide the representation of the petitioner and to award four times the market value as compensation for having acquired his land.

¶2It appears that the land of the petitioner was acquired under the provisions of National Highway Act and an award was made by the Competent Authority on 13.03.2023. The petitioner has been issued a notice to approach the Authorities for withdrawal of compensation.

¶3In case the petitioner seeks enhancement of compensation, the remedy provided under Section 3G(5) could be availed. No ground is made out to entertain the prayer in exercise of writ jurisdiction.
