¶1The petitioner claims that respondents have constructed road over the land purchased by him by registered sale-deed on

09.12.2003. The petitioner has been agitating for payment of compensation but to no avail, hence the instant petition.

¶2Shri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner can be decided by the Committee in terms of the Government Order dated 12 May 2016.

¶3Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merit, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file representation along with true attested copy of the instant order before respondent No. 2 within two weeks from today. Respondent No. 2 will place the representation before the Committee for being decided in accordance with law within next twelve weeks after after due notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and also after getting site surveyed in presence of the petitioner.
