¶1Heard Shri G.D. Misra, learned counsel for respondents.

¶2On 05.07.2023, following order was passed :- "1. Learned counsel for the petitioner was elevated to bench and has already retired.

¶2Issue notice to the petitioner to engage another counsel.

¶3Sri G.D. Misra, learned counsel for the respondents has argued that that interim order was passed in this case in the year 1996 which was recalled in the year 1999 and as on today the age of the petitioner, if alive, is more than 70 years and the writ petition does not survive.

¶4This submission of learned counsel for the respondents shall be examined on the next date.

¶5List on 10.8.2023 in top ten cases.

¶6Office shall submit a report regarding service of notice issued pursuant to this order. "

¶3The office report indicates that the petitioner has already been transferred long ago, therefore, notice has been returned back.
