¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, Shri Pramod Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondents No. 2, 5 & 6 and Shri Rajiv Gupta, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents.

¶2The instant petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to pay proper compensation to the petitioners in lieu of acquisition of their land.

¶3It appears from the record that an award was made on

15.05.2023 by the Competent Authority under the provisions of the National Highway Act, 1956.

¶4In case the petitioners are praying for enhancement of the amount determined as compensation by the Competent Authority, they can avail the remedy provided under Section 3-G(5) of the Act. No ground is made out to entertain the said prayer in exercise of writ jurisdiction.
