¶1The writ Court on 06.01.2022, in Writ -C No.35505 of 2021 has passed the following order : "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel as well as perused the record. Petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus to expedite the recovery process pursuant to Recovery Certificate dated 29.09.2021 issued by Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar against respondent No.4. Learned Standing counsel submits that no purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending it be disposed of by giving appropriate direction to the authority concerned. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddha Nagar to execute the recovery certificate dated 29.09.2021 to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible within two weeks from today."

¶2Today a compliance affidavit has been filed by opposite party, which is taken on record.

¶3In para 8 of the compliance affidavit it has been stated that the order of writ Court has been complied with and an amount of Rs.48,35,486/- has been recovered from the defaulter firm and the same has been sent to RERA on 05.05.2022.

¶4As the recovery has been made pursuant to the direction of writ Court, the contempt application has rendered infructuous and stands dismissed.
