At present the sole prayer of the petitioner is that a mandamus be issued to respondent no. 2 to decide the stay application of the petitioner pending in Revision No. 1551 of 2021 (Computerized Case No. C202105000001551) (Suresh Vs. State of U.P. and others) under Section 56 (1) of Indian Stamp Act, 1899 expeditiously within stipulated time. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that stay application is pending before respondent no. 2 since 2021 and same may be decided expeditiously in accordance with law. Without entering into the controversy involved in the present petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the stay application of the petitioner pending in Revision No. 1551 of 2021 (Computerized Case No. C202105000001551) (Suresh Vs. State of U.P. and others) under Section 56 (1) of Indian Stamp Act, 1899 expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law, after hearing all the parties concerned, if there is no legal impediment.
