¶1Heard Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Sudhir Bharti, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 16 - Gaon Sabha and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2The instant petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the Case No. 44/4/127/2002-2003, Computerised Case No. C200205000000025 (Shankar Chaubey v. Mannr & Ors.) under Section 27(4) of the U.P. Imposition of Ceiling on Land Holdings Act, 1960.

¶3From perusal of order-sheet, it appears that the matter is pending since 2002.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances, since the matter has been pending for last 21 years, I direct respondent no. 2 to dispose of the aforesaid matter within a span of three months from today.
