Shri Syed Saifullah, Advocate holding brief of Ms. Sufia Saba, learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri Upendra Nath, learned Additional C.S.C for the State are present. The present writ petition has been filed to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the police authorities to provide police protection to the petitioners against the respondent no. 4 and further to direct the respondents to not to harass the petitioners in any manner. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners does not want to press the present petition, with a liberty to file fresh application/proceedings before the Court of competent jurisdiction.
