¶1Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.

¶2Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶3This petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "i) Issue an order or direction, directing the Civil Judge ( J.D.), City Jaunpur to decide/expedite the suit No. 1191 of 2019 Hamid and another Vs. Azam and others pending before him (Civil Judge ( J.D.), City Jaunpur, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble court, within stipulated period as fix by this Hon'ble court."

¶4The petitioner is plaintiff no.2 in the aforementioned suit that has been filed seeking permanent injunction with regard to the property in dispute. It is stated that the suit is pending since 2019 and is not being decided.

¶5This Court is well aware of the fact that the District Courts in the State are functioning with much less than the sanctioned strength of Judicial Officers. Under the facts and circumstances of the present case, the direction as sought for is declined.

¶6The petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, it is open for the petitioners to move an appropriate application on the administrative side before the District Judge, who may consider the same at his own end. Order Date :- 16.10.2023 sfa/ (Jayant Banerji, J High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
