Hon'ble Surendra Singh-I,J. Shri Baleshwar Chaturvedi, the counsel for respondent no. 2 has obtained instructions and has handed over a copy of the same to the Court which is taken on record. The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that prepaid domestic electricity connection given to the petitioner is not being charged, despite the petitioner having deposited requisite amount for the same. On the basis of instructions, Shri Chaturvedi states that there is some technical difficulty in recharging the prepaid connection given to the petitioner and, therefore, as a temporary measure, the petitioner has been given postpaid connection till the prepaid electric meter is again recharged which shall be done soon. Shri Baleshwar Chaturvedi, the counsel for respondent no. 2 has also handed over a copy of the office circular dated 13.10.2023 issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer incorporating the aforesaid facts. The office circular is a part of the records of the case. In view of the office circular dated 13.10.2023, the counsel for the petitioner prays that the petition be dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty to file a fresh petition if a prepaid electricity meter of the petitioner is not charged within a reasonable time.
