¶1Heard learned Counsel for the parties and perused the record.

¶2The present petition has been filed for the following relief : " (A) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2, Addl. District Magistrate (Judicial), District-Bulandshahar to early decide the Application dated 23.01.2023 (Annexure-02) filed in Case No.01 of 2014, Computerize Case No.D201411170032 (State V. Kamal Singh) under Section 166/167 of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950 which is pending before him, within a period specified by this Hon'ble Court, so that justice may be done."

¶3The contention of learned Counsel for the petitioner is that the proceedings under Section 166/167 of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950 were dropped. Since the petitioner has purchased the land by a registered sale deed, he moved an application for restoring his name in the revenue record.

¶4Perused the applications filed by the petitioner, which are being filed under Section 166/167 of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act.

¶5In my view, this petition as framed, is misconceived and, is accordingly dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to move an appropriate application under the relevant provision of U.P.
