Judgment

Court No. - 9 Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 7608 of 2023 Applicant :- Vishram Singh Opposite Party :- Shri Ashok Kumar, President Of State Consumer Commission And 2 Others Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. Heard Sri Vishram Singh, the applicant in person. This contempt application has been filed for punishing the opposite party no. 2 and 3 for violating the order passed by National Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum in case of Sri Prabhakar Vyankoba Aadone vs. Superintendent, dated

08.07.2002. From perusal of the material on record, it transpires that applicant had approached the State Consumer Forum through Appeal No. 670 of 2018. The said appeal was dismissed on 27.06.2023 imposing a cost of Rs.50,000/- upon the applicant on the ground that order passed by civil court was not appealable before the State Consumer Forum. This Court finds that no case for contempt is made out. The contempt application is misconceived and stands dismissed. However, leaving it open to applicant to approach the National Consumer Forum, if he is aggrieved by the order passed by State Consumer Forum on 27.06.2023.
