The grievance of the petitioners in the present petition relates to construction of a water tank over the land of the petitioners in respect of which the petitioners have already made a representation before the District Magistrate, Jaunpur. The issue raised in the present petition can be decided by the concerned District Magistrate and, therefore, it would serve no useful purpose to keep the petition pending. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Jaunpur that in case, the petitioners make a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Jaunpur within fifteen days from today, the same shall be decided by the District Magistrate, Jaunpur within a period of three months from the date of filing the representation.
