Perusal of record shows that on 11.09.2023 also when the matter was taken up no one appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Heard learned Standing Counsel for the State and perused the record. Petition has been filed for a direction upon second respondent to take appropriate decision and decide application of the petitioner dated 06.03.2023. Record reveals that a complaint has been made by the petitioner along with other persons against a Gram Pradhan regarding embezzlement of village development funds. By means of an application he sought some information under the provisions of the Right to Information Act followed by an appeal before the appropriate authority, when his application failed to elicit any response. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner being a complainant has no locus to file such petition, therefore, this writ petition is not maintainable. He has relied upon a judgement of a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of Narendra Kumar v. State of U.P. an Ors., 2013(1) ADJ 228. In view of the above, this Court finds that no ground for interference is made out. The writ petition stands dismissed. No order as to costs.
