¶1Heard Sri Sunil Kumar Pathak, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Anish Kumar Upadhyay, learned AGA for the State.

¶2This application was filed seeking direction to the court below to expedite the proceeding of case no.344 of 2019 (Smt. Reetu & others Vs. Yashpal Singh), under Section-125 Cr.P.C., Police Station-Dadri, District-Gautam Budh Nagar, pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar.

¶3Contention of learned counsel for the applicant is that her application u/s 125 Cr.P.C. is pending since 2019 and till date same could not be decided because of the reason that opposite party no.2 is not cooperating and taking repeated adjournments. It is further submitted that even the application for interim maintenance is still pending since 20.04.2022.

¶4Considering the above facts and circumstances, Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar is directed to decide the aforesaid case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months and application for interim maintenance shall be decided, within a period of one month from the date of receiving the copy of this order.
