¶1Heard Shri Hari Om Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 and Shri Ashish Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3.

¶2In view of order proposed to be passed, it is not necessary to issue notice to respondent No. 3.

¶3The grievance of the petitioner is that his name is Subhash Chandra as recorded in the High School Certificate and Marksheet, but in the Intermediate Certificate it has been erroneously recorded as "Subham Chandra" and his father's name instead of Tulsi Ram has been wrongly recorded as "Tulasi Ram".

¶4The petitioner claims to have sent application dated 23.11.2022 by registered post to the respondent No. 2, Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P. at Allahabad, which is said to be pending.

¶5Considering the nature of correction sought and in view of Division Bench decision of this Court in the case of Anand Singh Vs. U.P. Board of Secondary Education and others, reported in 2014(3) ADJ 443, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No. 2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner as contained in his application dated 23.11.2022 and take a decision thereon by 31.12.2023, provided a certified copy of this order is served upon respondent No. 2 along with previous applications within two weeks.
