¶1In compliance of the order dated 9.10.2023, personal affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.3 - Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Collector, Jaunpur, is taken on record.

¶2In view of the explanation submitted by the concerned S.D.M. coupled with the fact that after registration of the case on 29.9.2023, dates are being fixed for deciding the application of the petitioners under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

¶3No useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending.

¶4In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - to decide the pending proceedings u/s 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within a period of two months from the date of certified copy of this order after providing opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided there is no other legal impediment.
