¶1Heard Sri Jai Shanker Misra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Kaushalendra Nath Singh, learned counsel for Respondent No.2 and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

¶2Solitary grievance of the petitioner is that his application dated

20.07.2015 filed for allotment of residential plot under the Residential Plot Scheme 2011 implemented by the NOIDA Authority has remained pending for very long.

¶3While learned counsel for the NOIDA Authority would contest the eligibility of the petitioner, he fairly states, at present, no communication has been made to the petitioner in that regard.

¶4In view of the above, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for a counter affidavit, at this stage.

¶5Without entering into the merits of the case, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon Respondent No.2 to consider the application made by the petitioner and pass a speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one month from today, if not already decided.
