¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties.

¶2Petitioner who is working as a Stenographer with Central Reserve Police Force. He is working on a Group C post and is entitled for periodical benefit of Assured Career Progression Scheme.

¶3It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in the above regard, petitioner has already made a representation before the competent authority, namely, Director General, Central Reserve Police Force Headquarter Jorahat, Police Complex Sairiya Jorahat, Assam.

¶4It transpires from the record that the petitioner is currently posted in Assam and has also made a request for ACP benefit before the authority who is stationed at Assam.

¶5In the considered view of the Court, the appropriate forum for the petitioner is to apply before the High Court having territorial jurisdiction in respect of Assam State for the appropriate relief.

¶6Accordingly, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. Liberty rests with the petitioner to apply before the concerned High Court.
