¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2The present applicants have invoked the inherent power of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to assail the cognizance/summoning order dated 19.07.2023 passed by the learned Special Judge SC/ST Act in S.S.T. No.240 of 2023.

¶3Learned counsel for the opposite party No.2 has raised preliminary objection with respect to the maintainability of the instant Application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. on the ground of availability of the alternative remedy to file appeal under SC/ST Act.

¶4Learned counsel for the applicants has prayed to dismiss the instant application as withdrawn with liberty to avail an appropriate remedy as available under the law.
