The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for a direction upon respondent no. 2 to consider his grievance extending benefit of One Time Settlement (OTS) scheme of the Bank for paying loan amount in Account No. 31961233964 of late Mohd. Husain (petitioner's father). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's father took a loan in the year 2011. He deposited few installments, however, he expired on

22.05.2021. The petitioner has moved an application before the respondent Bank to provide him statement of loan account of his father and give the benefit of OTS, but his request has failed to elicit any response. On the basis of instructions, Sri Alok Sharma, learned counsel for the respondent Bank submits that there is no scheme for the benefit, to which the petitioner claims to be entitled. However, in case the petitioner moves any application before the respondent Bank for redressal of his grievance, same may be considered. In view of the above, ends of justice would be met in case the petitioner moves application for ventilation of his grievance. This Court, without observing any opinion on merits, hopes that the Bank shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
