¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Vivek Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the Union of India and Ms. Uttara Bahuguna, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to decide the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within stipulated time.

¶3In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that her representation/application dated 21.09.2023 for redressal of her grievance may be decided expeditiously.

¶4Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel very fairly submits that, in case, any such representation is pending consideration, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent of counsel for the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the third respondent-Deputy Chief Engineer, Nirman, North Central Railway, Kanpur to look into, examine and redress the grievance of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, but certainly after giving opportunity to all the stakeholders in the matter.
