¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

¶2By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following principal reliefs:- "I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to ensure the protection of the life of the petitioners who are under serve threat of their elimination by the respondent no. 4. II. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent police authority to take necessary legal action against the respondent no. 4 on the representation dated 27.09.2022 given by the petitioner no. 1."

¶3After substantial arguments once the Court has declined to interfere, learned counsel for the petitioners states that he is not inclined to press the writ petition and the same may be dismissed as not pressed.
