¶1Counsel for the applicant is permitted to correct the prayer clause during course of the day.

¶2Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶3This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant to expedite the maintenance application registered as Case Crime No. 25 of 2019, under Section 125 Cr.P.C. (Gunjan Prakash Vs. Manoj Kumar Pillai), pending in the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Allahabad.

¶4Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is wife of opposite party no.2 and she has lodged complaint under Section 125 Cr.P.C. against opposite party no.2, which is pending since 2019. More than 4 years have been passed. He next submits that the maintenance application is also pending before the Family Court since 2019 and the same has yet not been decided so far. He next submits that opposite party no.2 has appeared in the case and has filed W.S. in the proceedings.

¶5Considering the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant, the Family Court, Allahabad is directed to conclude the proceedings of Case Crime No. 25 of 2019, under Section 125 Cr.P.C. (Gunjan Prakash Vs. Manoj Kumar Pillai) within a period of four months from the date of service of certified copy of this order.
