The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue an order or direction commanding the respondent Commissioner, Moradabad Mandal, Moradabad to decide the suit no. 440/2022, computerized suit no. C202213000000440 (Chandrahas Goyal vs. Subhash Chandra Goyral and others) under Section 207 of Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 pending in the court of commissioner, Moradabad Mandal, Moradabad expeditiously as possible by a reasoned and speaking order within a reasonable time preferably within three months. " Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the suit in question has already been decided on 5.10.2023, and as such, the prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition has become infructuous. Learned Standing Counsel does not dispute the aforesaid statement made by the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that nothing is left for adjudication in the present matter as the writ petition has lost its efficacy.
