1.Heard Counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Shridhar Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents.

2.The instant writ petition has been filed praying for a mandamus directing respondent No.3/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Prayagraj to decide the Case No.8897 of 2023 computerized Case No.T202302030608897 under Section-20/24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within stipulated period as well as restrain the respondents from taking coercive action against the petitioners.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the aforementioned case is pending before respondent No.3/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Prayagraj for adjudication since 29.09.2023 but there is threat of dispossession of the petitioners hence this writ petition just after three weeks from the date of filing of the application under Section 20/24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No.3/Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Prayagraj to consider and decide the aforementioned case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
