This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the prayer to quash the externment order 03.10.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Mau, in Case No.223 of 2023 (Computer No.D202315510000223) (State Vs. Pramod Yadav), under Section 3(1) U.P. Control of Goondas Act, Police Station Madhuban, District Mau by which the petitioner has been banished from entering the limits of District Mau for a period of six months. In view of the prayer made above, this writ petition is not maintainable at this stage, as the petitioner has an alternative remedy to move an appeal under Section 6 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act along with the stay application before the Commissioner, Mau. In view of the observations made above, the writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed on the ground that petitioner has an alternative remedy to move an appeal under Section 6 of U.P.
