Instructions filed today be kept on record. This writ petition has been filed for the quashing of the impugned notice 14.8.2023. Learned counsel for the Electricity Department, however, states that the provisional assessment order had been challenged and that the petitioner has yet no cause of action. He states that one more notice dated 23.9.2023 was issued to the petitioner after the impugned notice. He has stated that if the petitioner replies to the notice then the reply would be considered in accordance with law. This notice dated 23.9.2023 was handed over to the petitioner's counsel in the Court itself. Under such circumstances, if the petitioner replies to the notice then the same shall be considered by the Electricity Department in accordance with law within a period of two months.
