¶1Learned counsel for applicant is permitted to make necessary correction in the prayer clause of the application during the course of the day.

¶2Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A.

¶3The applicant has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer to direct C.J.M, Firozabad to expedite and conclude the proceedings of case No. 8140 of 2021, State Vs. Shivam and others, arising out of case crime No. 093/2020, u/s 498-A, 323, 504, 506, and 3/4 of D.P. Act P.S. Mahila thana, District Firozabad, within the stipulated period.

¶4Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant is the first informant in the instant case and the charges against the accused persons have already been framed on 9.11.2022, however, the trial is pending since then and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶5In view of above, the court below is expected to make all endeavour to conclude the aforesaid trial expeditiously preferably within a period of one year after giving opportunity of hearing to both the sides and without giving unnecessary adjournments to either side, if there is no other legal impediment in concluding the trial.
