¶1Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.

¶2Petitioner has approached this Court with the claim that his father who was Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) in Irrigation Department was not paid post retirement dues.

¶3The father of the petitioner died in the year 2022 and no document has been annexed that he ever claimed that he was not paid post retirement dues after the year 2010 when the UP Human Rights Commission, Lucknow passed the order that petitioner's claim may be disposed of.

¶3Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter which is taken on record. A copy of the same is also supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶4As per instructions, the dues that were to be paid to the father of the petitioner has been paid and finally, the claim set up by the present petitioner as son of Late Paltan Prasad has been rejected vide order dated 13.10.2023.

¶5Now, since the petitioner's claim has been rejected, no cause survives to continue this petition. However, liberty rests with the petitioner to challenge the order dated 13.10.2023, if so advised.
