¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2The petitioners, by means of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, are before this Court with a prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 27.06.2022 registered as Case Crime No. 0185 of 2022, under Sections 498-A, 376, 294, 354 (ka), 323, 504, 506, 511 I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station - Moradabad, District-Moradabad.

¶3Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this Court vide order dated 02.08.2022 had referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Center of this Court. In compliance of the Court's order, settlement/agreement was arrived at between the parties on

27.09.2023. A copy of the same is on record. Perusal of the settlement/agreement, reveals that the parties have amicably settled their dispute and further agreed to withdraw all the cases pending between them. The said fact has been mentioned in Paragraph Nos. 7 & 8 of the settlement/agreement dated

27.09.2023.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account the settlement/agreement arrived at between the parties on 27.09.2023 before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, the proceedings in the aforesaid case are hereby quashed.
