By means of this bail application the applicant has prayed to be enlarged on bail in Case Crime No. 8 of 2021 (Special Sessions Case No. 245 of 2021), under Section 376DB IPC, Police Station-Purandarpur, District-Maharajganj. The applicant was earlier enlarged on bail by this Court by order dated 25.09.2023 passed in Criminal Misc. Bail Application 36442 of 2021. This is a bail application in added section i.e. Section 376DB I.P.C. The applicant is entitled to bail for the reasons narrated in the order passed this Court on 25.09.2023 in Criminal Misc. Bail Application 36442 of 2021. The applicant has explained his criminal history. It is also contended that the applicant has become a soft target and a convenient scapegoat for the police authorities who nominated him in a false case to burnish their professional credentials. The said case does not have any bearing on the instant bail application. Let the applicant-Govind Chauhan be granted bail in the aforesaid case crime number under the same conditions.
