Petitioner is aggrieved by the transfer order dated 1st June, 2023 on the ground that he stands reverted to the lower post as earlier he was working on the post Junior Engineer and now under the transfer order petitioner has been posted as Senior Assistant for ministerial work and, according to him, it is quite punitive in nature. It transpires from the record that petitioner has already approached the competent authority vide representation dated 16th June, 2023 which was forwarded by the Chief Engineer, Vindhyachal Division vide letter dated 26th June, 2023 to Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation and Water Resource Department, U.P., Lucknow. Learned Standing Counsel submits that matter can be directed to be examined by the competent authority in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.-1 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner as raised in letter forwarded by the Chief Engineer, Vindhyachal Division on 26th June, 2023 and dispose the same strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
