Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. This petition has been filed seeking the following relief: "I. Issue an order or direction to the learned Principal Judge Family Court, Budaun to expedite Matrimonial Divorce Petition No. 459/2019 (Sandeep Kumar Singh vs. Smt. Meera Singh and another) within stipulated time as specified by this Hon'ble Court." It is stated that a Matrimonial Petition No. 459 of 2019 was filed by the petitioner under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that despite the case is being listed for cross-examination of the D.W.1, the matter is being adjourned by the Family Court. Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent. In view of the aforesaid provisions of the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Order Date :- 28.10.2023 A. V.
