Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. Petitioner, who is working as Staff Nurse, is claiming maternity leave for the period running from 20.06.2023 till 19.12.2023, yet the Chief Medical Superintendent has not passed any order upon her pending application. She now prays that her representation dated 14.07.2023 may be directed to be disposed of within a time bound period. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner as raised in her application dated 14.07.2023 and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 3 shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in her representation and decide the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add that the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
