¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.M.Upadhayay, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.

¶2In pith and substance, the petitioner is before this Court with request to direct the respondent no. 4 to conclude the proceeding of First Appeal dated 20.03.2023 in view of the order dated 28.07.2023 passed by respondent no. 2, under Section 6 of U.P. Janhit Guarantee Act 2011.

¶3Learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the aforesaid appeal is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.

¶4In view of the above, on consent and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no. 4 to decide the aforesaid appeal strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
