¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri F.A. Ansari, learned Standing Counsel.

¶2Present writ petition has been preferred for following relief:- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos.2 and 3 to protect the life of the petitioner and take appropriate action upon the application filed by the petitioner and also to provide security to the petitioner from the illegal act of the respondent no.4 and 5."

¶3Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits of the issue and with the consent, the writ petition stands disposed of asking the Senior Superintendent of Police, Saharanpur to look into, examine and redress the grievance of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law expeditiously but certainly after giving opportunity to all the stake holders in the matter.
