¶1Heard Sri Vikas Srivastava, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing counsel for State respondents.

¶2Present petition has been filed seeking direction in the nature of mandamus commanding respondent no. 2 to conclude the proceedings under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 regarding the Arazi no. 207 area 0.2590 hectare situated at village Bharthani, Tehsil Mariyahun, District Jaunpur in case no. T202214360605381 (Dev Raj vs. Gaon Sabha and others) within stipulated period.

¶3At the very outset, learned Standing counsel came up with specific instructions which is taken on record through which it transpired that pursuant to order dated 16.05.2023 passed by respondent no. 2 in case no. T202214360605381, concerned Revenue Inspection carried out proper demarcation of the plot in question and submitted field book dated 16.10.2023 before respondent no. 2 and the said case will be decided expeditiously on merits.

¶4In view of the aforementioned facts and circumstances it is apparent that proceedings of case no. T202214360605381 are already underway and as such no cause of action survives for petitioner to pursue the instant petition and the same stands disposed of.
