¶1Heard Shri Juned Alam, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Shri Ashish Malhotra, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 and perused the record.

¶2The grievance of the petitioners is with regard to award of marks in relation to Subject Code-002 Hindi.

¶3One of the prayers made in this writ petition is for production of answer book of the concerned papers.

¶4Shri Ashish Malhotra, learned counsel for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 submits that in view of decision of the Apex Court in the case of Central Board of Secondary Education and another vs Aditya Bandopadhyay and others, reported in 2011(8) SCC 497, the remedy for the petitioners lies under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

¶5Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already applied under the said Act, however no information has yet been received.

¶6The petitioners' rights to claim any relief are saved subject to furnishing a copy of answer book upon them by the concerned Authorities under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
