According to the petitioner, certain land belonging to Gram Sabha has been sold against the law for which inquiry has already been conducted and the first information report has been lodged but till date, appropriate action has not been taken. Learned State counsel submits that once the first information report has been registered, the law will take its own course and appropriate action would be taken against the persons who are involved in the scam. In view of the submission made by the State counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of expecting the responsible authority to take appropriate action against all those persons who are involved in the scam.
