¶1Heard Shri Suresh Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner.
¶2Prayer for expeditious disposal of Suit No.154 of 2022 (Smt.Ajita Singh vs. Avinash Sharma) under Section 15 of Small Cause Courts Act has been made.
¶3I have perused the order-sheet and I find that though the defendant has put in appearance and the case was posted for filing written statement and in the meantime, lawyers have abstained from work. The suit is at the very initial stage and having been filed very recently, therefore, no direction for its expeditious disposal can be issued.
¶4While declining the prayer made at this stage, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file another petition for expeditious disposal as and when the suit comes at the stage of recording the statements.
¶5With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 28.10.2023 LN Tripathi High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
