The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that no decision is being taken by the District Magistrate, District Farrukhabad on the application of the petitioner for grant of a character certificate. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, it is directed that the application for character certificate filed by the petitioner shall be decided by the District Magistrate, District Farrukhabad within a period of three months from the date of filing a certified copy of order in accordance with law. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
