The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that no decision is being taken by the District Magistrate, Maharajganj on the representation dated 1.10.2023 filed by the petitioner for cancellation of the Scheduled Caste Certificate issued in favour of respondent no.4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, it is directed that in case the petitioner makes a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Maharajganj, the same shall be decided by the District Magistrate, Maharajganj within a period of six months from the date of filing the representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties and after verifying the facts.
